Turtle Fur Supports The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life
March 14th 2016 - On Saturday, March 12th 2016 Turtle Fur participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Nordic Style Vermont event held at the Catamount Family Center in Williston, Vermont. The event brings together local communities and families touched by cancer through an organized, overnight fundraising walk. Teams of people camp out around the designated track and members take turns to participate, with remembrances and social gathering events punctuation the night. Turtle Fur was there to support the event and the teams walking to raise funds and donated all proceeds from hats sold on-site to the American Cancer Society. About The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement symbolizes hope and a shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement. These events give everyone an opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost, and raise funds and awareness to fight back and help end cancer forever.
