Due to the inherent properties of the Merino Wool, this balaclava is naturally odor resistant with moisture management properties. The TENCEL™ Active Cellulosic fibers are derived from renewable wood sources and this MaxClava is 100% biodegradable, meaning it's a sustainable option for your winter wardrobe.

I used this under my snowboard helmet for added warmth, but around the chin area started to fray after a few days and then after about 5 weeks I just noticed there are now holes in this area. That was caused by either friction with the helmet chin strap or my jacket.
