    Too tight

    Hat is warm and soft but the fit is too tight. I have a big head and the "one size" is uncomfortable.

    The Hat and Turtle’s Neck

    This is the very first product review I have ever written. I just chalk up an unfavorable experience to bad luck. I am reviewing two products.

    I have two original neck warmers of The Turtle’s Neck( pastel blue and yellow). I’m not sure how long I’ve had them, but back into the mid1980s I imagine. I still use them every winter as I walk/hike. I was looking forward to purchasing a cap and new neck warmer. I bought the charcoal ( gray) color.

    The Hat is small on my head, so much so that I am constantly pulling it down. Within two usages ( approximately 5 hours total ) the Hat started to pill. I will not purchase The Hat again.

    The neck warmer is more snug than the old The Turtles Neck or those similar products from another company. I like the fact that it is snug, but not . It too started to pill earlier than I expected it too. I would purchase a neck warmer again.

    Soft and Warm

    This hat is a replacement for a similar Turtle Fur green hat that I thought I had lost. While I prefer the green color of my old hat, the new hat is noticeably softer and warmer. I was able to confirm that because a day after I ordered the new navy blue hat, I found the old green hat buried in the hood of my winter coat. I looked everywhere else except there before finally ordering my new hat.

    And my new hat was delivered a day after I ordered it! So, it came just in time for me to campare it with my old green hat when it arrived.

    If a new forest green hat becomes available, I will probably order that one also.
