I wore this hat almost everyday when I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro a few weeks ago. The first half of our expedition we spent quite a bit of time hiking in the scorching sun and the Willoughby boonie hat saved me! I had my hair in tight braids, so my scalp definitely would have burned without it. I loved how packable it was, as I was able to shove it in my pack everyday just in case I needed it, and I did… EVERY DAY. It’s lightweight and stayed on my head pretty good. I also wore this kayaking on the lake and it was perfect. My only nitpick would be that I wish the front part could fold up and stay up if I wanted that option.
