    Too thin for real warmth

    This was given as a gift. When the recipient put this item on their wishlist they were really excited about this product because of the breathability of merino. Too many balaclavas become damp after a short period of time. The product is nice but is not warm enough when being used on a really cold day of skiing. Honestly, it's pretty thin. I really like Turtle Fur but would not recommend this product if you're looking for something breathable AND warm. The recipient is now looking for something else.
