During my 8-day Mount Kilimanjaro trek in Tanzania in August 2025, I chose the Apres Tort in natural color—a splash of warmth and style I knew I’d crave after days of rugged hiking. Made from 100% Recycled Comfort Lush High Pile Fleece, it promised softness, breathability, and thermal insulation. What I didn’t expect was how deeply I’d fall in love with it.
First Impressions: I was drawn to the Apres Tort the moment I saw it online, but seeing and feeling it in person exceeded every expectation. It’s soft, fluffy, and elegant—like wrapping your head in a cloud that knows how to fight the cold.
Trail-Tested Performance: I began wearing it from Day 4, when the temperatures began to drop. It kept my ears and head perfectly warm without ever feeling sweaty or tight. It paired beautifully with my Turtle Fur Freestyle Mittens, creating a cozy, coordinated look that felt as good as it looked.
Summit Night Hero: On summit night, we left basecamp at midnight aiming to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) by sunrise, braving temperatures around -18°C. I layered up: balaclava, buff, Apres Tort, and the hood of my down jacket. Apres Tort in black was better than described. It is warm, attractive, comfortable and the fit is perfect. I called customer service with some questions regarding size and color and the response was most helpful, I placed order immediately. It shipped the same day Friday, and was delivered on Monday.
