I bought this to replace my beloved fair aisle knit wool Turtle Fur Pom hat from several years ago. I am an avid hiker and I like an extra warm wool hat in the winter.

This hat is beautiful and comfortable (actually covers more of my ears than my last one did), but is a tad less warm.
